Eligibility of transmission swap

I am looking to purchase the car listed above SL model. The car is having transmission problems. I have a 2002 Nissan Maxima SE with a good transmission but host of other problem that would be too expensive to fix. Was wondering if the transmission would be interchangeable. Would grateful for any information on their compatibility. Thanks

Hello, I am Danny.

The 2006 SL transmission is Model number RE5F22A and the 2002 SE transmission is Model number RE4F04B. Let me check for the differences, compatibility and get back to you. Danny-

Hello again, Danny here.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but, that transmission swap will not work. After doing some research your car the 2002 SE transmission is a non-computer controlled four speed transmission and the 2006 SL transmission is a computer controlled five speed transmission. Just will not work. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and thanks for using 2CarPros.
