Electrical issues after putting jumper cables on wrong

I have the jumping cables but accidentally put on wrong. I changed the battery and nothing turns on. But when I give it jumping cables it starts and then shuts off after 2 minutes running. What may the issue be?

Hello, I'm Danny.

It possible you might have shorted one of the fusible links.A fusible link is designed to trip when an electrical overload is applied.They are designed to do that to save all the valuable electrical components in the system.That would happen in your case of hooking up the jumper cables wrong.Here is a tutorial on how to check wiring .
