Okay fellas, long story short: I rebuilt part of the engine on my little 1.8 1g dsm. The enginer is a 4g37 (if its car specific?). I finally started it the other day after changing all my seals, doing the timing, and my oil pan gasket. It fired up great. Did not have my throttle cable set right, I just wired straight to the throttle body for the reason of starting and opening the valve manually.

I went purchased a new battery because it did start off of a jump from another vehicle. When I put the new battery in to start it, it started fine as well. So I left it alone for a couple days until I had time to mess with it again. Wired everything right, hence it started the first two times. I got in the car and turned the key and nothing. All that happens is that my instruments and head/tail lights flash on and off for like fifteen seconds or so, and that is it. No click when I turn the ignition, nothing. CI charged the battery fully on a charger, and still nothing.

My problem has to be electrical, and I am hoping it is a fuse or a ground problem. Please help, I need a second opinion and maybe some advice from someone who has seen this problem before. It is probably something minor, so I would like to get a more professional opinion.

Thanks, Jes.

Because you replaced the battery it engaged the anti theft, try resetting it if no manual look online for your car. If that still does not work a mechanic will have to scan it to see what is wrong with it.
