Wondering where to connect this electrical connection eyelet. I took it off but forgot where it connects. Here's what it says on the side. Thanks!

That does not look like a factory cable. Do you have lights, sound system, or an alarm on this vehicle? If so, and the cable was attached in the engine compartment or the general area that you have it laying there, it would only go to the positive battery post. I circled the nut that you would remove and connect to the post there.

Even if this is a factory cable, I am sure it still connects in the same spot. Clearly it is a large battery feed cable so due to the fact that you already have the factory starter/alternator cable connected to the battery, I guess it is not factory.

Let me know if you have questions. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. This car is 100% stock. I traced the line back to the alternator, which is confirmed by the battery icon light coming on. So it has something to do with the alternator. You think I should put it under that nut on the positive terminal? There is already a connector there.

Okay. That is good info. If this is stock then we need to put that in the proper place because it is fuse protected. That means this connects to the battery junction block. Left rear corner of the engine compartment.

Here is the wiring diagram that shows the other end of this connects to the alternator. That means this end connects to the BJB.

There should be an empty spot for it. If you can't locate it then get me a picture of your battery junction block and we can find the spot.

Are you able to circle where? There looks to be a spot on the negative terminal post, but I don't know where else.

Just to confirm, number 1 in the picture I attached is the cable in question, correct? If so, It is going to attach to something in the junction box, which is number 2. Open that up and we are looking for terminal 1. More then likely it will be an empty spot. Get a picture of the open box if you can't find it and we will figure it out.

That's it. You should have a nut with a washer to secure it. If not, just get a new on from a parts store. Also the wire is going to be pointing down. In other words you put the eyelet on the stud and then the wire should be going down, not sideways or up.

Good job. Let us know if you have other questions. Thanks
