My car will die when it is idling for awhile and it won't start after it dies, I can't jump start it either. It has a brand new alternator and I took the battery in to be tested and they said it was a good battery. The battery is being drained by something we just don't know what it is? Do you by any chance know what might be causing this to happen?

HI there,

To check the draining problem you need to do a current draw test, place an amp meter between Battery Pos (+) and the battery lead, don't try and start the car, with the key out and doors closed check the current draw, if over say.15 -.2 Amps start pulling fuses and fusible links one at a time to isolate the circuit drawing power, also disconnect the alternator as it may be a faulty diode that is back feeding voltage, start here.
