The turn signal works. Got to mention I got a system in my truck. And my hazard button broke, and I got a screw and button shoved in the hole.

When I am riding down the road my brake light does not light up at all, but if I hit the brake they light up?

The brake lights should stay off when you're not using the brakes. I'm confused. What isn't working? As far as the hazard switch, where is the screw? Did you screw it into the broken part?
Also, let me know where you are getting power for the system. For example, do you have it direct to the battery?
