Not shifting properly after solid flywheel conversion done on my car

I’ve had a solid flywheel conversion done on my car it’s all back together and running. but first feels more like second gear and in reverse the car goes forward. It seems all the gears are in the wrong place. any ideas please?

I attached a picture of the shift cables. Make sure they are in the correct spot. From your description, it sounds like they may be in the wrong location.
