Have noise in rear end on decel. Noise sounds like gear clatter. Carrier brgs, pinion bearings are new. Side gears and spyder gears also new. Has minimal backlash! Noise seems to be intensified thru aluminum driveshaft. Any insight would be helpful.

HI there,

You can normally pick diff noise by driving at normal road speed and backing off the throttle, this will alter the noise as the dill goes into over run, wheel bearings will just be noisy and constant with road speed, you can make a really bad diff sing with the throttle, check this out first.

Noise is not bearing type noise. It is not growl or whirring. It is more like clacking or like a card in bike spokes only on decel

Check unis, jack up rear and undo the pinion flange, turn by hand and feel for any rough spot that may indicate a broken tooth, drain oil and check for metal, also check brakes to make suer all is ok, as you can imagine with out hearing the noise, I am at a distinct disadvantage but I hoe that we can nut it out.
