My cruise control was working properly since an intermittent problem arose. When cruising (on cruise control), the truck began to speed up to the top speed after few minutes of steady cruising. I had to switch off the cruise control to resume a legal speed. This intermittant problem became chronic and now, the truck begins to speed up endlessly (after few seconds or minutes) everytime I put the cruise control on.
What should be the problem? How to diagnose and to fix it?
Thanks
Frank

You can use the vans on-board diagnostic system to see if it has recorded a problem, this should point to thefix. Turn ignition switch off/on, 3 times last time leaving it on.The check engine light should flash, count these flashes. Example 34 is 3 quick flashes then about a 3 sec pause then 4 quick flashes, there will be a longer pause between codes.Get back with what you find
