2002 Dodge Truck Light on the instrument panel

On the left side of the instrument panel there is a small engine light on. I think I had this problem once before and replaced the fuel tank cap does that make since.I had a dia. Test done at the local parts store all it said was something about manufactory code, we reset it and the light stayed off for a while but came back on thanks. Scottb

Scott, they should have gotten a trouble code when they checked it. Did they tell you a code or number?

And yes, you most likely had an EVAP code come up the last time. The fuel cap is the most common reason for that code.
