Can I put a 1998 V8 2500 engine into a 1996 V8 1500 Truck?

Are they the same size engine? Also, keep in mind, all sensors will need changed and it's a lot of work. Final comment, things change from year to year so make sure the everything has remained the same as far as sensor locations, brackets.

We recommend using only direct fit replacements, but this may work for you.
