Dodge Stratus Automatic Transmissiom

I drive a 97 Dodge Stratus V6 with 120,000 miles. I got in my car today and put it in drive and was pulling out of my driveway when I lost all my gears. I put it in park and then was able to put it in reverse and back up. I then put it in park and when I tried to put it in drive I had no gears. I then put it in park and then drive and pulled into my parking spot. I did start leaking transmission fluid about a week ago. Any ideas what's going on? Thanks in advance for the help.

First I would get your tranny checked out, With whats happening it is difficult to diagnose without actually looking at it. A tranny shop will run it on the computer and hopefully they can find your problems. Until you are able to do that here is what I would do, Reset your battery you will do that by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for about 30 mins. Re-connect it and run the car see if it shifts normal then.
