I purchased a code scanner after my check engine light came on and this is the code that showed up. Although I can find the code on a list, I am not sure what it means. My brake fluid is not low. My cruise control works fine. The car does not seem to be experiencing any problems, but the light is still on. Would you be able to suggest what possible problem could be causing this? I am hoping it is not a major (expensive) issue.

Hi there.

Your code is P0572 Cruise Control/Brake Switch A Circuit Low, as you say the cruise is working, this just may be an old code that has never been cleared, I would just clear the code and if it re sets there will be an issue with the electrical circuit that concerns the brake cancel switch.
