MY DODGE STRATUS IS GIVING ME THE BLUES. IT STARTED WITH POOR STARTING WHICH I BELIEVE IS THE GAS FILTER ISSUE, BUT RECENTLY WHEN I TRY TO START THE CAR IT TAKES ABOUT THREE ATTEMPTS AND MORE RECENTLY THE SOUND OF CLICK CLICK CKICK THEN THE BATTERY IS DRAIN, I WENT AND HAD A NEW ALTERNATOR PUT IN GOT A JUMP AND THE SAME THING HAPPEN, IVE TAKEN MY BATTERY TO A SHOP THEY DID A TEST THE RESULTS SAYS I HAVE A BAD BATTERY SHOULD I SEE BETTER RESULTS WHEN I BUY THIS NEW BATTERY AND DOES MY DODGE HAVE LIGHT OR WARNING IF MY ALTERNATOR WAS BAD OR A FUSE?

Welcome to the forum, if your instrument cluster looks like the above picture, number 9 is a battery symbol, that is for the charging system. If the battery is down, it's best to take it off and get recharged rather than let the alternator try to charge it.
