My wife came home one day and told me her car was chugging. Well I went out and took a look, the car starts up and runs fine until the rpm's go down after the start of the engine. But then it begins to chug.I went under the hood thinking it was makybe just a loose wire. Well I didnt find any loose wires and I decided to pull out the spark plugs and take a look at them. The first one was fine just had to regap it. Pulled out the 2nd plug and I found it was sorta covered in oil. And had to regap. But the 3rd and 4th plugs are fine. Can you give me a solution to why there may be oil in the spark plug and what can be done to fix it. I dont know what else could be wrong with it. And the check engine light came on prior to it chugging. But I havent got that checked out yet. Thanks

Well it could be several things, bad valve seals, piston rings, or something simple like a plugged pcv valve, a plugged egr valve tube, I would get it scanned for free at autozone or another popular parts place and bring the code or codes back to us and then we can pinpoint it.
