Code po 715 input turbine speeds sensor circuit non functional control. How, where, and location and difficulity to replace by a novice owner mechanic?

I looked up the turbine speed sensor circuit, The circuit is hard wired into the transmission and looking up where it is it came back as being under the drivers seat

I have the same issue on my 06 dodge sprinter and my mechanic is guesing the electronic plate on the valve body. But i'm not sure and the plate is a cost of $500. If anybody can help me I really apreceate.

Different garages get things from different suppliers, check around to so you can find the average price of the throttle body, you could also check with a couple salvage yards around to see what they charge for one.
