Steering problem
2003 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive 110000 miles

I went to get an inspection. They told me I needed new power steering and my cv joints were bad. It would cost 1200.00 I had no indications of these problems? Does this sound accurate?

Were you getting a clicking sound when turning? That would indicate a problem with the CV joints, unless the boots are bad and they are replacing the entire axle. As far as the power steering, what did they say was wrong with it? Was it working fine when you went for inspection?
