I have the truck listed above 1500 v8, 4.7. It recently overheated and now there is water in the engine oil. What could be the problem and possible solutions as well as approximate pricing?

This is most likely a blown head gasket. Here is a video and a guide on how to determine this or other possible causes. However, since it overheated I suspect the head gasket is the issue.

Let's run through these tests and we can go from there. As for the cost, that is going to depend on which side the gasket failed or both. Labor time is about 8 hours per side unless you are doing both. I attached the labor time and part cost for your review.

Let me know what questions you have. Thanks
