2001 Dodge Ram problem when turning in 4 high

when i have my turck in 4 hight and turn, the truck jumps and shakes. it dose not happen any other time just when i am in 4 wheel drive. if you guys have any ideas it would help alot. it is used for off roading and takes a beating.

This is a normal condition if you have 4 wheel engaged and you are turning on a hard , dry surface.
Since the drive axles are locked together in 4 high and you are turning, the front and rear tires are turning at different ratios which is causing the hop. The 4 wheel drive is designed for loose or slippery conditions. My 2000 Durango does the same thing.
