2001 Dodge Ram error code

I got the error code p-1693 went to auto zone they don't have it for dodges do you know what the code is for. The best I could get was electical. That is a wide range of things need the exact so I can get it fixed. Can you help. Dennis

P 1693 is just saying a fault code has been generated in the companion engine control module try regulating key three times to reset comp. And see if code comes back if so have scaned at auto repair shoip their scaners wiull be alot better then autozones basic code reader
