Today all of a sudden my truck started idling up and down and I could feel my truck surging. At idle it would be anywhere from 600 to 2200. The check engine light came on and now my truck stalls and cuts off when I try to give it gas. I had no known problems prior to this. Any suggestion

You may turn the key on and off three times fairly quick and look where your milage shows and it will give you any codes if it has some. And then you may post them for help.

I did not have any codes to pop up. It is idling from 500 to 1000 in a constant rhythmic timing

With the check engine light on there should be a code set, most of the time. I supect your idle air controll is bad. Have someone scan it for you.

Hope this helps

I cleaned the throttle body and checked the injectors. They seem to be fine. After cleaning the throttle body, when I cranked it it initially revved up to around 2500 rpms on it's on and then it died. It will turn over but now it will not run so I did the fuel pump and it fixed it.
