1996 Dodge Ram check engine light on

Hi I had code P0138 problem is wires melted now can I just connect those wires so that check engine light goes off or do I have to replace the whole wiring all the way to ECM?

That depends on what caused the wires to burn, most likely the entire wire harness there will need replaced but you could try splicing new wiring onto the old harness in place of the melted wiring.
