1995 Dodge Ram oil pressure fluctuation

The oil pressure in my Dodge Ram has recently been dropping to or very close to zero when I come to a complete stop, it doesn't always happen but usually it does. However when I get back on the gas it instantly comes back up to 35-40, the normal range.

What you need to do here is check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure switch abnormal oil pump pressure relief valve could be sticking-for me sounds more like the oil pressure switch is out of calibration
