Dodge Neon Transmission Overdrive Solenoid

I have a 1998 Neon Automatic (2.0 SOHC) that I just had the rear main and torque converter seal replaced in. My mechanic said after replacing the seals, the check engine light was on and the code was for replacing the overdrive solenoid. I have looked all over the internet and in the Neon repair manual and cannot find anything about an overdrive solenoid. Is there such an animal and what are the replacement procedures?

Sorry, just saw the date of your post, but anyway, as far as I know the 98 neon never had an overdrive, only the optional 3 speed automatic or the manual 5 speed. Did yours have an actual overdrive>
