I have a 2005 Dodge Neon; I just replaced the alternator; after it was placed the car still wouldn't stay on; so therefore, I purchased a new battery because I had mine for 3 years; now the car only stays on for 10 minutes and my NEW BATTERY IS COMPLETELEY DEAD! Can you please tell me after replacing my alternator and battery why is the battery still not charging?

I had that problem with a car a few times actually. Check the alternator fuse, cuz believe it or not that was my problem once. Then the other times we replaced the battery cables and that fixed it!
