oil sending unit

where is the oil sending unit mounted on the engine. i looked all over and can not find it. there is no picture of it in the manuals i have, i have 2 manuals

Your vehicle is equipped with an oil pressure switch. It is located on the right side of engine block for the 2.0L engines and on the right rear of engine block for the 2.4L engines.. 2.4L engine pictured below..
