2002 Dodge Neon total labor hours

I was informed that the total labor hours to R&R the automatic transmission is 28 hours. Could you please tell me what the REAL total labor is for such a job. At this shops rate, the labor alone will be almost 3000. Thank you for your help

The labour time to R & R this transmission is 4 to 5 Hrs max.

Its 12 to 14 hours For R/R and rebuilt
28h is very steep
