2002 Dodge Neon check engine light

My check engine light has been on for about a month, my speedometer excelerates from 0-120 and keeps jumping and my car will not get out of 1st gear. When I took it to a car shop they told me the PCN computer is dead and I needed a new one and once they got it, everything should be fine. Well the man called yesterday and told me the part was installed But the problems have not corrected themselves. My car still wont come out of 1st gear and speedometer still jumps. Do you think I need a new transmission? I really cant afford that, I am a single mom who is also unemployed.

See this is what happens and I dont like it, since the computer didnt solve the problem are they gonna put your old one back, they are just trying to make some money, Im sorry it gets me p#*$)(d off. All they had to do is scan the computer and read the trouble code, you tell them to put your car right the way it was, without charge, and your taking it out of there, or you will contact your states attorney general and the DMV. Get your vehicle back, and bring it to autozone and have them scan the trouble code, bring the code back to us or me and we will look it up and steer you in the right direction for FREE.
