2000 Dodge Neon General Question on my car

I have a 2000 Dodge Neon Automatic with 124000 miles on it. It is smooth and apparently doesn't have any problem. I travel 100 miles non stop regularly very smoothly.

Now I want to travel distance of around 150 miles one way and than return back. I will do it occasionally, may be once in two weeks.

I was wondering if it is okay to do with my car or shall I rent a car? Its going to cost me a lot if I rent. But don't want to spend in the future in my car for maintenance because of this long travel.

What is your suggestion?

Welcome, your car should make the trip ok. Regular maintenance and tune-ups is about all the preventive maintenance you can do. One of my vehicles is an older vehicle, different make and model, well over 200K, I drive it everywhere, but, I can't guarantee it won't break down tomorrow. 150 miles isn't that far.
