I have a 1988 Dodge Neon 2.0 L that absolutly does not like to go up hills faster than 15-20 MPH. I have replaced the Air Filter and the Spark Plugs and Wires it even has a new altenator. The doesnt have that great of acceleration either.

I was thinking that it could possibly be the fuel injectors I have put fuel injector cleaner in it and it did help a little bit with the acceleration but not with the hill issue. I have alos been told that it could be the fuel filter.

Check your filter and disconnect the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold and check for improved acceleration-if so thinkl catalytic converter
