1995 Dodge Neon pcm programming

I was wondering since my 95 neon has the pcm turn he alarm or should I say door chime on to notifie me when the engine overheats, can I get it programed to chime when the fuel is low?

It should be possible, though I don't know how easy if it doesn't already ding. Does the light come on for low fuel? If not it could be a relay problem. Otherwise, you'd have to find someone who can program the ecu and more likely get a new one. There were a lot of changes from the 95 but the 98 I own dings on low fuel.

You can also try resetting the ECU by pulling the fuel pump fuse for about 1-2 minutes and replacing it (technically 45seconds but wait longer to be sure.) You can also disconnect the battery but this can take 10+ mins and I'd suggest 15-20 to be safe.
