I need some help, I have a 1996 Dodge Intrepid with 144k, about two months ago I took the car to a mechanic because apparently an oil hose broke and was leaking, he fixed it but once I got the car back it started shanking and vibrating, everytime its not on motion, whether its on park or when I make a stop the car shakes and vibrates kind of how big truck do, what can be the problem? Any help will be useful thanks

Take it back to the mech. And tell him to fix it couse it wasn't doing it before you bung it in.

An oil hose? Do you mean a brake line? If it's only doing this when you apply the brakes, i'd say warped brake rotor.

Yeah it was an oil hose, and right now it hasnt given me any problems but I was worried that the shaking might be a problem. It only shakes when I Have the car on "park" or when I make a "stop" and the car is not in motion. It kind of seems like it wants to die out sometimes, is this bad and how bad can it get? THanks for the replies.
