The interior lights stay on even with the engine running, which they are not supposed to. When the door is opened and closed the are to fade out slowly, they don't. They will stay on for 20 minutes or more before going out. What's the problem?

Try getting a can of brakekleen and spray white lithium grease, then spray the affected door latch with the brakekleen and close and reopen the door, repeat this 5 or 6 times, then let the brakleen dry, apply the white grease and see if this clears the problem. If not after the treatment remove the neg battery cable wait 10 seconds re attach it and see if it clears.
