Car hit dip in road, last oil change they put an oil filter that is a bit longer than skid plate. Oil filter was damaged did not know 5 miles down the road engine stopped. Low pressure warning light came on only for a minute. All oil had leaked out, replaced oil it will not start something is turning when you the key but thats it. Is there a safety fuel shut off switch or something? Or is engine toasted.

If someone other than you did the oil change, they are responsible for damages. As far as the engine, if it turns over, there is a good chance it is okay. If it doesn't start, check to see if there is spark and fuel getting to the engine. Here are the how to's for checking.

Let me know what you find.
