Recently, my engine started to misfire while I was driving through town. The check engine light came on then my car promptly died on the side of the road. My code reader said it had a cylinder misfire on numbers 1&2, and a multiple cylinder misfire. Not sure where I should begin to finger out the problem. I know it is not the spark plugs, I have just replaced them 2 months ago. If anybody has had this problem and fixed it, please help me out.

The codes saying that you have a misfire on the # 1&2 cylinder
I would check if u have spark on them cylinders and check wire and coil
check for fuel and fuel pressure
check fuses and relay ASD relay

Hey thanx for the info. Also have more to add to that to maybe narrow it down. It will start and run fine, I can let it sit and idle all day long if I wanted to, but if I drive it after a couple miles engine starts to chug, then dies. It was suggested to me that the fuel filter might be the problem. Could this be the problem. Would like to start with the easiest possibilities first
