1999 Dodge Intrepid

After I drive 4 a while, my car gives a little jerk and acts like its going 2 stall. But, it doesnt. My engine lite comes on, but the car drives fine. If I let it set a while the lite goes off or I can take it some where and reset the computer. I beleive it started when I hit a bump and my cruise control would shut down. I would have 2 turn the car 2 get the cruse control 2 work. I dont use my cruise at all but the other problem is still there. What do u think the problem is, could u please help. I dont make alot and i`m short of cash most of the time.

Hello, if the mil comes on, there should be some codes? Some of the national brand autostores will check codes for free. Let us know about the codes.

Other than the codes, I'd have to go with the basics, how long since a tune-up, can you check fuel pressure?
