Hi I have a 1997 intrepid 3.3 engine and 120,000 miles. It is in excellent shape and I do all my own maintenance. Recently when turning right [slowly] it stumbles and I have to give it gas to keep it from stalling. Otherwise on the straight-away and turning left all is good. On the key/check engine light code is #42, I have checked all wiring and hoses all good. Also checked egr-valve any help appreciated caper64

Code 42 means Open or shorted condition detected in the auto shutdown relay circuit. I would check with the relay first. Because the relay could be going bad. I have a 97 intrepid and it was doing what you are describing and I moved relays around, and my problem went away so I replaced the relay. So try the relay first.
