1996 Dodge Intrepid Vacuum Leaks

I have just bought a 1996 Intrepid. It Idles at 2000 rpm and when I raise the hood I can Hear a vacuum leak. How difficult is it to replace the upper plenum gasket? Can I do it by the shade of my back yard tree?

Oh you sure can. By the shade but in the sun, so you can see. The surfaces should be really clean. I used a air gasket scraper. A die grinder with rough surface pads does a quick, great job.
