I recently changed plugs, wires and put a new battery in 3.5 litre, intrepid. It's been running great until yesterday morning. It started great, but going down the road it misses something terrible. I could not get over 25 mph. I noticed the green "cruise "light on the dash came on intermitently as the car was trying to stall. I did not get any check engine or fault lights on the dash. LLimped car home and it sit in the garage now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will be working on it this Saturday.

Thanks, John Branch

Double check that none of the plug wires popped off. Does it miss at idle too? Did you check the plug gap before installing them? What kind of plugs did you use?

I will check spark plug wires for secureness, I did properly gap spark plugs 1 month ago when I changed plugs and wires. Plugs were oem. Car starts good, but does miss at idle. Car ran great for one month after sparkplug/wire change. Car ran great even the night before the morning when the terrible missing started. Something happened on that morning when I started the car. This Saturday I will have time to look at it. If you have any other ideas please let me know and thank you for your response today. I will let you know what I find on Saturday.

Thanks,

John

Check for good spark at all cylinders. Might be an injector. While under there, remove the plugs and keep them in order, look for obvious differneces in the coloring
