1995 Dodge Intrepid

I started experiencing trouble with the transmission not shifting into gear about three weeks ago. I would put the gear into drive and accelerate and it would go but then not shift into the next gear. I would stop and put it back into park and then try again and it would work sometimes. Can you give me anymore info. About this?

Yes, always about five minutes after driving.

Believe it or not, that is a good thing in this case. Something electrical has sent a trouble code to the computer identifying a problem. What you need to do is have the computer scanned. I recommend toaking it to a nationally recognized parts store to have it done. Most will do it for free and they'll tell you what code comes up. The code will identify where the problem is coming from.
