2000 Dodge Durango 4x4, 5.9L, 59K. Started off replacing hazard/signal relay fuse every couple months, now every couple minutes. Never had a problem until I was driving in a SERIOUS rain storm, all electrical was lost but truck kept running. Just guessing that there is a connection btwn the fuse and losing power in the storm. If you can help, much appreciated. Semper Fi Karl

Hi. I am guessing that you got your electrical back eventually and now its just the hazard and signal that are the issue.

The fuse is popping due to a ground issue. By your indication of a heavy store knocking all electrical out I would tend to agree that they may be related.

Check your electrical connect at the firewall junction. With battery disconnected seperate the junction and just make sure that some water didnt get into the junction and then corrode the connections. Its a possible that as the level of corrosion has increased the "fault" has increased.

Make sure that you use a good silicate when you rejoin the connection. That will help prevent any future "leaks" from occurring.

Love the semper fi.
I was a different branch but service is service.
