2005 Dodge Durango Oil sleeve

The sleeve of the oil dip stick that it slides into is broken, but still in place. I noticed this after I bought the vehicle. Is the motor going to lose oil pressure becouse of this. The sleeve is broken about 12 inches from the point of entry of the dip stick.

Hi there,

This has nothing to do with the oil pressure, you can replace the sleeve, it should just pull out, but it may be rather tight, if you can check the oil level correctly, I would not be to worried about it.
