Hello -

To better assist you please tell me your engine size in liter and the 8th digit of your VIN.

Also you do have day light running lights?

Does your door ajar light come on or stay on at times.

You do have a delay on your interior lights at night..... When the door closes it delays and then goes off....... Or use to

Yes there is a delay on the lights normally but currently they just stay on even while driving, I can press the button to turn them off and that will dim them a little but they will not go off, they are even staying on overnight after the the car is turned off.

Hello -

Thanks for the update.........

For the 8th digit of the VIN..... Please count from far left to the 8th digit..... Could be a letter or number.........

For now while I am checking with the info you gave me, take some WD40 and spray all of your door latches. The part on the door that latches around the striker plate on the body. Spray really good, then open close several times, then spray really good then open close. Make sure you get all over that latch assembly as best as possible.

Let me know what happens..... Meanwhile.......I am looking.........

Hello -

By the way, it looks like you may have some recalls on your vehicle. The dealer may fix these for free. Please contact the dealer service department, give them the VIN number of your car and have them check on these to see if they apply to you.
