P0725--P0320 & P1299

Runs smooth for approximately 15 minutes then dies. Fuel injectors stay running and engine floods. Tach bounces after engine dies. When I run the codes they come up P0725--P0320 & P1299. I have already changed the crankshaft sensor. What do I need to do now?

Hi
Code P1299 is for vacuum leak and will shut down engine. Intake is plastic and prone to crack chek it and PCV and brake booster for leaks. Not sure what is meant by injectors keep running and flood engine How was this determined?

When engine dies the injectors keep clicking until you turn the key off. When you turn the key back on the injectors continue to click. I have to hold the throttle wide open to get vehicle started and it has a strong gas smell.

Injector s are controlled by PCM they provide ground to open. If they stay clicking then PCM must be faulty or problem in wiring to Camshaft sensor and signaling PCM that there is cam rotation with engine off. Did you find any vacuum leaks? Have you cleared codes? And do they reset? P0725 no reference for that code it would be a Trans code

Hello,

This sounds like you have a shorted fuel injector causing the injector driver to go full on flooding the engine. To find the cylinder that is having an issue please remove all spark plugs (keep them in order) to look at the condition of each the bad cylinder will have a different looking plug.
