2001 Dodge Durango code P1740

If it happened It's not only possible, it's fact! May or may not be related, but it seems wiring was THE issue. There was a recall for the code 1740, did you get the notice? Here's the front page of it.
SCAN TOOL ERRONEOUSLY DISPLAYS P0000 FOR P1740/P0461 TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN Reference Number(s): 25-002-01, Â Date of Issue: Â February 02, 2001 Related Ref Number(s): 25-002-01 ARTICLE BEGINNING SCAN TOOL ERRONEOUSLY DISPLAYS P0000 FOR DTC'S P1740 AND P0461 Model(s): 2001 Dodge (AB) Ram Van 2001 Dodge (AN) Dakota 2001 Dodge (BR/BE) Ram Truck 2001 Dodge (DN) Durango Group: Emissions Bulletin No.: 25-002-01 Date: February 02, 2001 OVERVIEW This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software (calibration level 01Cal14A) SYMPTOM/CONDITION A Generic Scan Tool or an Enhanced Scan Tool, like the DRB III, may erroneously display certain Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) as P0000. As a result, the scan tool may display Freeze Frame data incorrectly. The following DTC's are displayed incorrectly as P0000: 1. P1740 - TCC or O/D Solenoid Performance (DTC will cause a MIL) 2. P0461 - Fuel Level Unit No Change Over Time (a non-MIL DTC) DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURES 1. Verify the calibration level of the PCM software.
