Brakes problem
2006 Dodge Dakota Four Wheel Drive Automatic 27,129 miles

I have my son's truck in the dealership due to a strong shaking of the front end when the brakes are applied. I had my mechanic look at the car the day before and he replaced brakes and routers in the front and said the back brakes shoes have another 50 % of wear to them. Dodge is telling me the shaking is due to needing new back brake shoes. I researched on-line and there is a recall that describes the problem the truck is having to a T but my VIN was not included in the recall. Has anybody heard about this? There is a technical service bulletin regarding this issue. Also, my truck is still under warranty.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Check your email, I sent the TSB with pictures so you can identify the PARTS invlved, but if you have these symtoms, MAKE them fix it while it's under warranty, AXLE replacement is part of the problem, and will cost major bucks!
