Suspension problem
2005 Dodge Dakota V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

while changing my shocks I had one that was siezed up because the lower bolt was rust welded into its bushing. I can find lower control arm bushings on the net but these are the bushings that connect it to the frame, not that connect the strut to the a arm. I already removed the bushing but now I need help!

The shock bushing is part of the shock. Didn't you get a new one with the new shock or am I missunderstanding what you are refering to.

Let me know.

The shock bushing is not part of the shock on my truck. It is part of the control arm. The shock has 2 arms at the bottom that go around the bushing and a bolt slides through.
