I left the ignition on for a few hours resulting in a dead battery. I heard a clicking type sound under the dash board as I released the hood lock. Jumped the battery. No problem starting. Now the idle won't go below 3000. Fuses are OK. I have no O2 relays in the fuse box.

No check engine light? Look for any vacuum lines that may be off and check the IAC valve/motor it may have stuck wide open when the amps went up. It is very easy to clean with carb cleaner the carbon build up has a tendency to cause this valve to stick. I would check these items first. Let me know how that works out.

Good Luck.
