1998 Dodge Dakota Stops

My engine stops for no reason. It is a completly random problem. I'll be slowing down and my engine RPM just goes to 0 and the truck stops. It starts right back up and runs normally. It may happen once a day or several times. When I'm driving with the gas pedal depressed there isn't any problem.

Hi:
Because that type of a problem could from a number different things, I'm going to suggest that you stop at a nationally recognized auto parts store like Auto Zone, and have the computer scanned for codes. Keep in mind, most of these stores will scan the vehicle for free. If there are any codes, let me know and we'll go from there.
