1997 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 106K miles

My Dakota has 106K miles, and is a 5-speed manual. For some reason the truck idles at about 2100 now instead of its usual 800/900, what is my problem

Do u have check engine light on and if so get the code s
it sounds as you have a vacuum leak
check under hood for vacuum leaks and check idle control valve
you can try the key trick
get the codes and let me know
